Course Description:
When a design team specifies a system for a commercial project, they want the assurance that the system will meet all expectations and perform as intended for generations. As part of the building envelope, architectural aluminum frames must maintain the energy efficiency of the building, ensure interior thermal comfort and occupant safety, keep air and water out and maintain the building’s integrity in the event of storms, intense winds and seismic movement. This presentation discusses all that goes into ensuring that architectural aluminum framing systems will perform as intended. We will review required tests, how they are determined, and how they impact building projects.

Henry earned a degree in Marketing and English from Georgia State University and an MBA in Management from Kennesaw State University. Beginning his career in commercial construction, he has been with Kawneer for 28 years.
A regular speaker at industry and trade association meetings, Henry has several articles published and is Chairman of the largest Division 8 trade association.
